In an exciting venture beyond the classroom, the III grade students embarked on a field trip to Reliance Mart, unravelling the world of money and learning valuable lessons about budgeting. The purpose of this educational outing was to provide young minds with a hands-on experience in managing finances and making practical choices.
As the students navigated through the store, they were encouraged to make mindful choices within a given budget. The field trip provided a platform for practical application of classroom lessons on counting money, addition and subtraction. Students enthusiastically participated in real-life scenarios, calculating totals, and going through the ingredients of the packages and at the same time staying within their budget constraints.
